When I first discovered EFT, I wasn’t sure how to “use” it. Was it for emergencies only? Did I need to be upset to do it? Was I supposed to sit cross-legged on a cushion and have a whole ceremony for it?
The beauty of EFT is that it’s incredibly adaptable. You don’t need to be in crisis. You don’t need to know exactly what you’re feeling. You don’t even need to carve out a lot of time. Tapping can become a quiet, powerful companion in your daily rhythm – especially when woven gently into your mornings and evenings.

Let’s talk about it.
🌞 Why I Tap in the Morning
Think of mornings as your nervous system’s blank canvas.
Before the emails, the overstimulation, the scrolling, the plans – there’s a window where your subconscious is still soft, still receptive. It’s a beautiful moment to meet yourself. Even two or three minutes of tapping can help ground your energy, soften anxiety, and gently align you with how you want to feel for the rest of the day.
Sometimes, I wake up with a sense of pressure in my chest – even if there’s no “reason” for it. Tapping helps me stay with myself instead of pushing that feeling away. And sometimes, my morning tap is as simple as:
🌿 “Even though I feel a little nervous for the day, I choose to meet myself with calm.”
Or:
“Even though I don’t feel ready, I deeply trust that I’m supported.” 🌿
These little morning moments have changed everything for me. They’ve turned my inner world into a softer place to wake up to.
🌙 Why I Tap at Night
Evenings are integration time.
They’re when our bodies try to process the day, sometimes dragging along every little piece we didn’t fully digest. A comment, a tension, a sense of not doing enough. If we don’t create space for these, they pile up quietly. That’s where tapping comes in again.
A nighttime tap can be your signal to your nervous system: “I’m safe. I’ve done my best today and that is enough. It’s okay to let go of the day.” It can be simple, soft, and intuitive – a space to acknowledge whatever your heart carried that day and choose to release it.
🌚 Some of my favorite evening tapping intentions are:
- “I allow today to be complete.”
- “Even if I didn’t get it all right, I still choose kindness.”
- “It’s safe to rest now.”
That’s all it takes. The act of showing up for yourself, tapping gently as you exhale the day – that’s enough.
⏸️ Why I Tap in the In-Between
And then… there’s the middle. The moments that catch us off guard — during a lunch break, in between meetings, walking home, scrolling through something that suddenly stings. We never know when triggers are going to show up, but that’s the real-life, real-time magic of EFT. It’s not reserved just for the beginning or end of the day — it’s a gentle tool I can reach for exactly when I need it most.
Sometimes, I feel tension rising mid-conversation, or I catch a wave of insecurity before sending something important. That’s when I excuse myself, step away, and quietly tap — even just on the side of my hand, or under my desk, or with my breath — not always with words, just with presence. It helps me come back to myself. To remember I’m safe. To interrupt the spiral before it takes over.
Tapping in the in-between reminds me that I don’t have to wait until I break down to care for myself. Regulation doesn’t have to be dramatic. It can be a soft exhale, a kind interruption, a hand on your heart in the middle of the chaos.
💫 So… When Do You Tap?
There’s no one way, no one schedule. But if you’re wondering how to begin, this is my invitation:
Try tapping as a soft ritual in the morning – before you touch your phone. Just you, your breath, and your fingertips.
Try tapping before bed – even just for a minute – to land back in your body and tell your nervous system it can relax now.
Try tapping when you feel a wave of emotion, or when you want to plant a new belief into fertile ground.
Remember, EFT isn’t about “fixing” you. It’s about remembering yourself. Meeting yourself. Regulating your nervous system gently.
If you’re curious how to tailor EFT to your daily rhythm or want help finding the words that feel right, I’d love to hold space for that. This is what I do in 1:1 sessions – guiding you toward calm, clarity, and connection through tapping.
Whenever you’re ready – I’m here.
