During PMS, hormone levels fluctuate significantly — estrogen drops, serotonin dips, and our nervous system becomes more reactive. We may find ourselves in spirals of negative self-talk, increased anxiety, body image issues, or even old wounds bubbling up to the surface.

EFT works by calming the amygdala (our brain’s alarm system) and helping the body move out of a fight-or-flight response. So when your inner dialogue is loud and critical, or when you’re feeling everything too much — tapping helps bring you back to your center.
Even a short tapping round with statements like:
“Even though I feel so irritable and overwhelmed, I’m allowed to feel this way.”
“Even though my thoughts feel heavy and dramatic, I’m safe to slow down.”
…can shift the emotional landscape within minutes.
It won’t erase your hormones (and it’s not supposed to). But it will offer you a way to be softer with yourself, to find steadiness in the storm, and to soothe those overactivated thoughts before they take over.
