5 Things EFT Has Given Me (That I Never Knew I Needed)

When I first came across EFT, I wasn’t looking for a miracle. Honestly, I wasn’t even sure what I was looking for. I just knew that something inside me felt stuck — like no matter how much I journaled or meditated or “tried to be positive,” there were patterns and emotions I couldn’t seem to shift.

Fast forward to today, and it’s hard to imagine my life without EFT. This gentle, powerful practice has not only supported me through some of my hardest moments — it has changed the way I relate to myself, to others, and to the world.

So if you’re curious what this tapping thing is really about, here are five things EFT has given me — things I didn’t even know I was missing.

🌸 1. A Soft Landing Place for My Emotions

I used to either bottle up my feelings or let them explode. There was no middle ground. EFT gave me something so simple, yet so profound: a way to feel what I’m feeling without judgment. To hold space for anger, sadness, jealousy — even the irrational thoughts — and gently move them through, instead of being ruled by them. It feels like having a safe, compassionate place inside me to land, no matter what I’m going through.

🌸 2. The Power to Break Old Stories

I didn’t realize how many of my daily thoughts were actually beliefs I picked up years ago, that were subconsciously influencing my every day life. EFT helped me gently disentangle from those stories.

That I’m not good enough.
That I have “writer’s block”
(which, plain and simple, is fear! I’ve written a blog post about it, click here to read!)
That things don’t work out for me.
That I’m not the kind of person who can make dreams come true.

Through tapping, I learned to question those beliefs and make room for new ones. Ones that feel aligned, empowering, true.

🌸 3. Regulation, Regulation, Regulation

There’s nothing quite like that moment mid-tap when your whole body just sighs. When the nervous system switches from chaos to calm, from fight-or-flight to soft and grounded. It’s like handing your body a message that says, “You’re safe now.” And once you feel safe, everything changes. Decisions get easier. Relationships soften. The future feels like something to open up to, not brace against.

🌸 4. A Deeper Connection to Myself

This one surprised me. EFT hasn’t just helped me clear stress — it’s helped me hear myself more clearly. Underneath the noise and conditioning, there’s this steady, wise voice that knows exactly what I need. Tapping gives me access to her. It’s like peeling back layers to return to who I’ve always been.

🌸 5. Actual, Tangible Change

This isn’t just about feeling better — it’s about living differently. Because once those beliefs shift, once your system starts to expect good things… it shows.

In the way you carry yourself. In the boundaries you set. In the relationships you attract, the success you gain professionally, and the dreams that suddenly are attainable. I’ve seen it in my own life, and I see it in my clients time and time again: when the inner world transforms, the outer world follows.

EFT gave me more than a tool. It helped me reconnect with parts of myself I hadn’t fully seen or appreciated in a long time.

If you’re feeling drawn to try it — trust that. Sometimes, the most life-changing things start with a quiet curiosity.

And if you’re wondering where to start, or whether it’s for you — send me a message. I’d love to chat. This work is personal for me, and if I can support you in finding even one of these five things, it would be my pleasure. 🤍
